The talk and presentation had a focus on Learning, Leadership and Career choice for students who are entering the new business environment, post the financial meltdown facing the world economies.

Mr Jha also implored upon the students that as they prepare to enter the job market, they must look for a career and life and not only a job with some company. His message was clear that to do so each one of them ought to focus on their inherent talent, develop the skill sets to enhance the talent and drive their lives from the values that matters the most.

On the issue of Leadership, India faces a major crisis as the subject is widely misunderstood. Leadership is often characterized by its subjective traits rather than an substantive element. In today's world the leader has to be an architect of the future of the domain he deals with, be it the nation, company or an NGO and has to be a maker and keeper of the mood of that entity. As an example he talked about the lack of demonstrated leadership in the political arena of the country where every politician was aspiring to be the PM without the knowledge that becoming a PM is not an end of the aspirations of becoming the leader in true sense of the term.

The Q&A was as exciting as it could be with the whole group agreeing that the dream of India becoming a super power in 2025 or 2050, as envisaged by several leading International groups, could be affected by the Taliban style extremism threatening the Indian economic resurgence of the 21st century via weakness of the political authority in this regard.
